SATURDAY CRITTERS - Costa Rica

These photographs  of the White - winged Dove  were photographed in the garden of the first hotel I stayed at in  Costa Rica.

  1. I don't know if I've ever seen one! We have Mourning Doves here, and they do look alike. But there are differences, too. I bet they sound the same, too.

  3. One of the birding joys we had in Tucson those five years was seeing the white winged doves! You got some great photos! I think we are supposed to have some here in OR but I have only seen Eurasian Collared Doves at this point.
