While walking
round Mount Stewart Lake near Newtwonards last week, I saw this beautiful Little Grebe who was
very difficult to photograph as every time I got the lens focused on him, he
usually dived!
I am linking to SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Many
thanks for visiting and also leaving comments.
Have
a great weekend.
Awwww, he is so cute! Love the reflections, too.
ReplyDeleteYou won in the end. Which is more than I often do.
ReplyDeleteDarling photos of your Little Grebe Margaret. You have the patience it takes to produce wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Margaret! You managed such sweet photos of this shy little grebe!

ReplyDeleteWe do have grebes at our local lakes, but they look nothing like this little fellow. Your photographic persistence paid off handsomely.
ReplyDeleteHe was camera shy, but you managed to get some nice shots!
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, thanks for sharing this beautiful bird which you photographed beautifully despite the challenges. I miss seeing Little Grebes as we did in Tanzania. Have a great weekend. Blessings Jo
ReplyDeleteThat really is a nice looking grebe. Our grebes are not nearly as handsome.
ReplyDeleteHe has some distinct and attractive colouring.
ReplyDeleteYou got revenge on that bird, Margaret. All very nice pictures.
