WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Amsterdam Zoo

I photographed this Wreathed Hornbill at the Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam and I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.


 It is 30–39 in long. 
Males weigh from 4.0 lb to 8.0 lb, and females weigh 3.0 lb to 6.0 lb.

Male has the yellow pouch and female has blue one.

  1. Wow!!! Rather shocking pictures!! They are really wonderful. I have never seen anything like this bird!! It is huge and colorful, and looks like a creature from another planet.
