FRIDAYS' HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

It is time for FRIDAY’S HUNT and WEEKEND RELFECTIONS.  This week the letter is T, your favourite and Rule of Thirds.  The first five shots were taken at the Long Hole in Bangor and illustrates the high TIDE and TURNSTONE and  the 4th and 5th shots I think being the RULE OF THIRDS.

The Redshank in on the left and TURNSTONE is on the right.

Some of you may remember I am at present holidaying on the Isle of Wight and as such are not commenting but have all my posts scheduled in for you.  I flew Ryanair for the first time and our plane parked beside a TURKISH Airline at Gatwick.

The REFLECTION shot was taken when I was on the train to Belfast early on Wednesday morning.  Then I took a bus to the international Airport, then a plane to Gatwick followed by a train to Portsmouth Harbour.  Not there yet!  Boarded a ferry over to Ryde on the I.O.W. and got a taxis to my family's home. Quie a journey!! The light was just coming up when I was taking that shot.  I think this might be my FAVOURITE.

Many thanks for your visit and also your comments.

  9. Your Gulls are my favorites, Margaret. I'm glad you have them and not us. We do get them though, here for the winters. At our other place 75 miles north, we had them for summer too. (We moved from the north of Houston to the west, 75 miles. Before I retired, it was 75 miles to work, at the east side of Houston. It is 50 miles from our house now, west side of Houston, to the Ship Terminal on the east side. We can drive it in an hour on Sunday mornings. Other mornings it will take from 1.5 to two hours.)
You had quite a ride from Belfast to the Isle of Wight. We've seen it from a cruise ship but haven't visited there.

  12. Beautiful birds - I knew of turnstones but I don't think we have them here. We definitely don't have redshanks. I do love water pictures, especially ocean shoreline. Lovely shots!
