Bangor Walled Garden in June

Yesterday I showed you the Bangor Walled garden in May, so today I would like to show you it in June so that you will see the difference a month makes in this wonderful garden.  I went on a guided tour of the garden one evening and like yesterday, I took a lot of photographs so once again I made a SLIDE SHOW.  I am sure yesterday you noticed a large group of orange  flowers sitting en mass on the grass, I think they were marigolds, now look to see now where they have been planted around the garden. I suggest you grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy the beauty of nature.

You can access the SLIDE SHOW at

If there is a black space below, click it and the video will appear.

I have a short VIDEO of a tongue twister that is around the fountain.

It can be accessed at

If there is a black space below, click it and the video will appear.

Now did you manage to read the twister?  If not, here it is again -

When a twister twisting would twist him a twist, for twisting a twist three twists he will twist; but if one of the twists untwist from the twist, the twist untwisting untwists the twist.  Anon.

I hope you enjoyed not only today's slide show and video from the Bangor Walled Garden in June but also yesterday ones of the garden in May.

Thanks to Nicky, the head gardener and her team, we are blessed with this magnificent walled garden.

Thank you for visiting.

Many thanks for leaving comments on any of my posts.

  1. Just beautiful. And what a difference a month makes. Though in the garden some days it is what a difference a day makes. Thank you.

  7. Interesting. I've never taken a guided garden tour, but I usually visit small gardens!
We had a House And Garden tour in our region, self-guided, but you couldn't get into the houses! I was so disappointed and curious!
