Beautiful gulls and really enjoy your videos.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the chicks. So cute!
ReplyDeleteThe chicks look rather unattractive. I suppose that is part of keeping them save from predators. A fine series of this family.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, these are fantastic shots of the gulls and their chicks.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of the babies! Have a wonderful evening, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteThe chicks are so hard to ID, in may bird species. Their camo iz amazing!

The gull chicks are so adorable! Great video too.
ReplyDeleteThe chicks are so cute! And they blend in very well. Good camouflage...
ReplyDeleteBeautifully illustrated post, Margaret. I think that these two species of gulls are amongst the most attractive, visually, of the gulls, even if they are not the most popular of species. I'm sorry, but I find their chicks to be rather unatractive - unlike the chicks of most other species.
ReplyDeleteThe islands here sound like a wonderful place to visit!
Just love those young birds!
ReplyDeleteExcellent images of beautiful birds, especially the adult black headed gulls.
ReplyDeleteThe gulls may be common but there is still beauty in them. Chicks are cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet baby gulls♡♡♡ Love the cute eyes of the parents as well.
ReplyDeleteSending you Lots of Love and Hugs to from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Hello Margaret!:) Lovely images of the chicks and Gulls amongst the white flowers and stones ,where the little ones are well camouflaged. Enjoyed the vídeo also!
ReplyDeleteI love gulls......it's good to see them so that they can be studied and recognized out in the field. The Black-headed is similar to several species here but the hood goes up slightly more on the head. The Common Gull has a different head formation....much rounder. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese aren't just great photos of the gulls, they are great photos period. Love seeing the fluffy young ones.
