Yesterday I was walking back to my home through Ward Park and I took some photographs. Today I am sharing the beautiful Peacock that I photographed through 1" square wire mesh! Tomorrow I will show you the rest of the photos. I am still working on my photos from Scotland however I am very disappointed with a lot of them.
I suggest you put these photos into slide mode, grab a cup of coffee. sit down and enjoy the beauty of the Peacock.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Thank you for all that welcomed me back to blogging and to those who left comments. I appreciate all your kindness.
WOW! Truly stunning captures!
ReplyDeleteHI Kerri Glad you liked the Peacock and my photos.
DeleteLovely shots of this peacock, and looks as if the peacock liked you! Really showing his feathers off!
ReplyDeleteHI Jeanne Glad you liked the Peacock and my photos, however the Peacock was not interested in me at all but was busy displaying to the females so it was extremely difficult to photo him as he moved around a lot and the wire often was in the shot!
DeleteFantastic series of photos Margaret. I do love the Peacock and you have shown his real beauty here. Sorry to hear about your blogging problems but glad everything is okay now.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise Many thanks for your comment and I am glad you enjoyed the Peacock shots.
DeleteThat's an awful lot of pictures. Excellent.
ReplyDeleteHI Adrian I took at lot more photos than these as it was extremely difficult to shot a moving Peacock who was intent on displaying all shot through a 1 inch square wire mesh! Glad you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of this beautiful peacock.
ReplyDeleteThey are perfectly photographed, my compliments.
Hi Irma Very glad you enjoyed the Peacock and thanks for your kind compliments
DeleteHe is a beautiful bird and I am surprised that his coloring is different than what I have seen here. I would have thought a Peacock is a Peacock, but apparently not. I will have to look it up. Your shots, particularly the close ups, are wonderful and I empathize with you ...Trying to get a picture through a one inch wire mesh had to be excruciating. Great job Margaret.
ReplyDeleteHI Andrea Glad you liked the post and the Peacock. I am hoping that one day the one with the beautiful tail feathers will have them fully displayed like a fan when I am passing. I wonder what other colours you are thinking of.in your Peacocks.
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing birds and lovely to see - I LOVE that last one!
ReplyDeleteHi Em many thanks for your comments and glad you liked the last one best.
DeleteThese are beautiful photos of the peacock. I don't know how you got such good photos through such a small opening.
ReplyDeleteHi George Many thaks for comments. Yes, I had to have great patience in trying to get the shots.
DeleteYou obviously enjoyed taking all these images Margaret, you did well to 'loose' the wire mesh. He was displaying so well, it's a shame he hasn't got his full compliment of 'eye spotted' tail covert feathers though...[;o)
ReplyDeleteHI Trevor Well now I know that one is displaying, I will look into the park more often to try and catch the one with the beautiful tail displaying although that might be even more difficult through the 1" wire!
DeleteGorgeous photos of the Peacock, Margaret. They are beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing.
