WEEKEND REFELECTION AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for WeekendReflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is H and Hope. My Daughter Gillian, SIL, Chris and myself have volunteered to work from time to time on one of the Mercy Ships.  Everyone volunteer pays to work on any of these ships however it is such a blessing to many needy people particularly in West Africa.  After I came off the final time, I then raised many pounds for the work of these ships for 9 years when I lived in N.Ireland.  So it was a privilege to bring HOPE and Healing to these people.

A Vessel of HOPE

Mercy Ships is an international development organisation that deploys hospital ships and volunteers to developing nations – improving the quality of life for people living with the diseases of poverty, disfigurement, and disability, through direct medical services, and building the capacities of HEALTHCARE systems to meet the needs of the future.

This is Mount Stewart HOUSE near Newtownards where you may remember I was a volunteer photographer.  The next 2 shots are taken  in the Irish garden and show the red HAND of Ulster with red Salvia plants and then the Irish HARP.  The final show is one of the Lily pools and I am using it for my REFLECTION photograph.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.
