WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is T and Two. I have visited this venue several TIMES recently and these are a  few of the photographs and the first image is the TOP of THE  TIPEE.  A TIPI, also TEPEE or TEEPEE and often called a lodge in older English writings, is a TENT, TRADIONALLY made of animal skins upon wooden poles. Modern TIPAS usually have a canvas covering.  In the 2nd image you can see TWO TIPEEES.

I hope you are impressed at the TREMENDOUS effort it TOOK to lift this yacht called Ocean TRAMP with my TWO arms outstretched over the TOP f my head!  I will finish below with a boat called TROPHY and you can see there is a REFLECTION in the water.

hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  3. Hello,

Interesting names for the boats. Were the tents for an outdoor festival?
I like the 4th photo. Take care, have a happy Friday and a great weekend!

  4. My, you are strong to able to lift that sailing yacht that way ;-) It is time for sailing yachts to be in warm waters, or to be out of the water. Fun photos, Margaret.

  5. BTW, the Muskrat house in my post today is the mound of sticks and reeds in the water. Muskrats build houses much the same way beavers do.

  10. Nice 'Teepee" action photos. We saw some of the original type when we went to an American Indian (Indigenous people) Powwow. That would be pretty rough living, especially in Nebraska where the snows and winds are hard and cold.
Margaret, you were feeling strong holding that boat up. Like the toureists do trying to keep the Tower of Pizza from falling. Nice reflection of the little boat.

  13. You caught two great boat names! I love the orange image inside the tent.
I notice the social distancing sign in the third photo, it would be fun to create a collection from around the world.
    Stay safe!!
