Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is T
and Two. I have visited this venue several TIMES
recently and these are a few of the
photographs and the first image is the TOP
of THE TIPEE. A TIPI,
also TEPEE or TEEPEE and often called a lodge in older English writings, is a TENT, TRADIONALLY made of animal skins upon wooden poles. Modern TIPAS usually have a canvas covering. In the 2nd image you can see TWO TIPEEES.
I
hope you are impressed at the TREMENDOUS effort it TOOK to lift this yacht called Ocean TRAMP with my TWO arms outstretched over the TOP f my head! I will finish below with a boat called TROPHY and you can see there is a REFLECTION in the water.
hope you enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your visit and comments.
The interior of the tent makes for a very interesting shot!
ReplyDeleteThese are nice pictures Margaret.
ReplyDeleteNice that you are trying to lift the boat, well thought.
Have a great weekend and stay healthy.
Well done on that humungous lift.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteInteresting names for the boats. Were the tents for an outdoor festival?
I like the 4th photo. Take care, have a happy Friday and a great weekend!
My, you are strong to able to lift that sailing yacht that way ;-) It is time for sailing yachts to be in warm waters, or to be out of the water. Fun photos, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the Muskrat house in my post today is the mound of sticks and reeds in the water. Muskrats build houses much the same way beavers do.
ReplyDeleteUne belle série de photos. j'aime beaucoup l'effet avec ocean Tramp
ReplyDeleteOh strong woman. He can lift the yacht.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Margaret.
Have a happy weekend.
You are stronger than I thought!!
ReplyDeletei always find the names on boats to be interesting!! i often wonder how people decide on the name!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! You have super human strength.I also like the first picture, looking up into the tip of the teepee.
ReplyDeleteNice 'Teepee" action photos. We saw some of the original type when we went to an American Indian (Indigenous people) Powwow. That would be pretty rough living, especially in Nebraska where the snows and winds are hard and cold.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, you were feeling strong holding that boat up. Like the toureists do trying to keep the Tower of Pizza from falling. Nice reflection of the little boat.
..
Very beautiful Photography. Best regards of the Netherlands.I saw yor link from website Tom.
ReplyDelete...regardless of THE spelling THOSE TENTS are neat.
ReplyDelete...you sure are strong TO be able to hold up THE Sea TRAMP.
...nice TROPHY!
THANKS Margaret for stopping by, TAKE care.
You caught two great boat names! I love the orange image inside the tent.
ReplyDeleteI notice the social distancing sign in the third photo, it would be fun to create a collection from around the world.
Stay safe!!
What fun, to life that yacht! It looks like quite the entertaining time, getting these photos.
