Once
again let us walk round the Cairns Botanical Garden. This first shot is of the entrance to the Tanks
Galleries. These old tanks had been used
in the war and they have refurbished them and use them as art galleries and performance
areas. However the art exhibition had
just finished the day before I visited.
Above are Black Butcherbird and below you will see a river which we crossed by a
bridge and I saw a 5’ Stingray. Our
bird guide had never seen one in this river so that was special and very
unusual.
I
thought these were unusual flowers on this plant (don’t know its name) and
finally the beautiful lake where we saw a number of birds.
Thanks
for visiting and also for leaving comments.
