Time
to The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and the letter is O and Open. While working at The National
Trust Property of Mount Stewart during the Conversations event in September
this year, I photographed this OPEN gate
leading into the formal gardens. The
ONIONS were is the house kitchen which was OPEN
to the public to view and the last image is a REFLECTION one with Mute Swans and their cygnets OVER on the far side of the lake. CLICK here If you missed seeing them on a previous post.

Lovely gate---
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gate!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the first one. So inviting....
ReplyDeleteThe open gate is very inviting!
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty gate, and the reflections are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have heard that a person should never store onions and potatoes close together because the onions give off a gas that will cause the potatoes to rot. And yet, in all our grocery stores the onions and the potatoes are in bins next to each other. Anyway, I like your onion photo!
Nice "O's", Margaret. Looks like the gate has been Open for several years. The bush has grown in the opening. I would not have thought of Onions, at least for a long time. Pretty wild spot for the reflections.
ReplyDelete..
no The gate actually closes but for this sot I needed it OPEN. The bush looks like it is nearer than you think and is not in the way of the gate when it is open. People use this gate to access one of the gardens at Mount Stewart. Have a wonderful weekend.
Delete...wonderful 'O'pen gate.
ReplyDelete...'O'nions, I didn't think of that.
...love that large leaf plant along the pond.
Thanks Margaret for stopping by, enjoy.
Love the open gate pic! Onion! Didn't think of that one. The last shot is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret! I enjoy onions raw and roasted. An open gate is always a great invitation to come in and have a look around.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret,
