This post is linking with GOOD FENCES. I took these photographs just before I was on
duty at the Coach House the first day of the Conversations Weekend that Mount
Stewart was holding recently. An artist painted the below of Lord Castlereagh and I just had to have my photograph taken!! Enjoy all the hedging in the different gardens areas.
Many thanks for visiting and also to all who leave comments.
Gosh, they use hedges for everything! Things I didn't even think you could use them for! To line paths, make boundaries, decorate, add structure to architecture, and make archways! ALL beautiful! I have never liked hedges because they hide pretty yards. But these are divine because they show gardens off and are beautiful in themselves. Picture eleven is AWESOME!! Also the steps going up to the house entrance. What a fun picture of YOU! Love that snappy blue jacket!
ReplyDeleteYou make a fine swash-buckler, and how I love those gardens.

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful gardens, everything so neatly trimmed and tidy. What a surprise to see the building with what appears to be grasses growing on the steps, and all across the facade!
ReplyDeleteNO it is NOT grasses but wonderful pink and white daisies.
