The Long Hole is next to the pier at Bangor and is a tiny harbour. I was just passing the other day and saw a Common Tern resting on a buoy and took s few photographs of it, then did some experimenting with them and this is the result. Below is my original photo of the Tern.

DeleteI like the large shot of the end of the float, I spotted 2 turns today , but only had a 100mm lens on the camera, so only got a shot from about 30ft.

HI Peter Many thank fo your comment and you choice. I don't have different lenses only a fixed lense. A Lumix FZ38 camera. Margaret
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections and the detail on the buoy. Amazing how many variations can be had from a single picture. Worth the experimenting Margaret. Love the last shot of the Tern.
ReplyDeleteHi Keith Glad you liked the reflections and buoy shots. Yes as you say, it certainly was worth experimenting. Both the reflections and buoy were shots I saw better at home because it is sometimes difficult to see everything through the small view finder.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about going on 'Bird' island this weekend and at what I am going to find there. Have a great weekend and Happy Birding! Margaret
