Tanks at the Armour and Artillery Museum

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter G and Ground.  This bird is a Stone Curlew and is sitting on the GROUND and the yellow butterflies are also resting on the GROUND.  I am using this shot as my STREET PHOTOGRPAHY of a GROUP of bird watchers who feet are on the GROUND but their eyes are trying to find a particular bird high up in the trees.

THROUGH MY LENS

 This is the caterpillar of the Blue winged butterfly and then the next stage is called a chrysalis. You can see in the second shot when touched, it draws out its horns in defence.   When the caterpillar is full grown and stops eating, it becomes a pupa. Someday I may be fortunate enough to photograph the actual butterfly.
