WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These are Pale - bellied Brent geese which I thought would have left on their journey to Arctic Canada to start breeding.

  6. They are beautiful, and i am also curious about why they haven't left, if they're supposed to have done so by now. The Canadian Geese now stay here all year, they don't migrate any longer except from marsh to pond to bayou, we see them winter and summer, nesting her quite well. It makes me wonder what's going on to change their behavior like that.
