Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is L and Love. In August our whole family and friends flew over to Sweden to attending the wedding of my first granddaughter Anna to Jonathan. The LOVE that they shared was very plain to see. I LOVE Anna very much and was thrilled to have witnessed this union. Enjoy the images and there are many more to see when I get them edited.
You could say these two shots below are my STREET PHOTOGRPHY. Unusually at one point the band arrived during the wedding and then more unusually at one time played their instruments lying down as did the gown! After they were married the bride and groom walked back up the red carpet with handfuls of real rose petals showering them.
I hope you
enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your visit and comments.
This is a wonderful wedding day candids

ReplyDelete...this was certainly a LOVELY time for your family! I wish them the best in their life together.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I like a lot your wedding pictures. Nice that you could go to a foreign wedding of the granddaughter. We also went to a foreign wedding of our middle son; he and his wife were married in Barbados. That was back in 2001, M was 45 and he had never been married before, we had given up hope on his. C is a few years younger, and she is from Venezuela. The only wedding guests were Mrs. Jim and me and C's mom and sister. They had known each other for a long time and corresponded regularly.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice occasion for us, we hired a taxi for the afternoon and toured the island with him as our guide. The next few days we had a rented car for St. Lucia and next the same in Martinique. All told almost two weeks, if not more. We like Sweden, we did a Princess cruise in the Baltic, visiting all the countries' capitals. We liked Copenhagen the best, next was a tie between GdaĆsk, Poland, and St. Petersburg, Russia. I don't think the cruises are going to St. Petersburg at the present. We'd been there before on a Russian river cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
I rambled, sorry,
..
