SUNDAY THOUGHT

Whoever comes to me must follow in my steps and be willing to share my cross and experience it as his own, or he cannot be considered to be my disciple.   All who seek to live apart from me will lose it all. But those who let go of their lives for my sake and surrender it all to me will discover true life!

Matthew 10:37-39

THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections.  This week the letter is z and ZZZ as in sleepy and as you can see this child was so tired that  he has fallen into a deep sleep in this chair.

Above are two ZEBRA crossings on both sides of the road.  I remembered that one of the books in the Old Testament was called ZECHARIAH which means " The Lord has remembered".   I leave you with an autumn REFLECTION image which I took this October as I walked round the lake at the National Trust Property at Mount Stewart.

SUNDAY THOUGHT

For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].

SUNDAY THOUGHT - Hummingbird Moth - EXTRA

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Many thanks to Danny for letting me share these photographs with you and also all who leave comments on this post.
