I did show you some Puffins one very misty Saturday
morning while I was visiting Copeland Island one weekend in June. Today I am showing you these Puffins photographed on the Sunday
morning however this time the sun was in the wrong quarter but I did like the
sparkly effect on the water. I am adding a video that I took on the misty morning and showed you before but have added it in to this post for the
people who did not see it.
The video can be accessed at

YEAH, Puffin day!!!! They are so cute, they look like little balloon pool toys bobbing around. Isn't God such a whimsical artist to give them clown faces? In the video, the birds are louder than you! Which ones are making the loud noise? did they spot you? Love seeing the puffins in the water, they don't so much swim or float as they BOB.
ReplyDeleteadorable little guys they are!
ReplyDeleteA great puffin series. The video is a good idea for those who missed it before.
ReplyDeletePuffins are such appealing birds. We saw hundreds of them when we were in Norway, but none up close. I really enjoyed this post and your video. Those guillemots looked like they were having a conversation. I hope that the breeding program is successful soon!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, not sure which I enjoyed more the puffins or your beautiful accent! Hope you are having a great week. The puffins all sound like they are sort of laughing.
ReplyDeleteThey really are adorable. I can imagine them as cartoon characters.
