I took a walk through Ward Park in Bangor recently and came across these geese with their family of goslings.

    Watching bird families, such as the geese and ducks, is a particular delight.

    The Canadian Geese, which no longer migrate away but just stay and raise their families here, had their babies so many months ago most of them are grown enough to not look much, if any, different from the parents.

    For some the announcement of Spring is ewes with lambs. For me it is geese with goslings.
