Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is O and Over. Firstly we see an ORANGE buoy with a gorgeous REFLECTION. Then a cruiser with a Canopy OVER its cockpit, followed by an OPEN sign (not during lockdown!) however the next sign tells us they are OPEN for takaways and that cafe is beside the OXFAM shop (closed at present). There is our lady who feeds these gulls everyday and you can see they are flying all OVER the place. This boat is in the Marina with an OUTBOARD engine hanging OVER the back of it. The final shot of in fact a OVERSIZED "O"!
I hope you enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your
visit and comments
Your shot of the lady feeding all the birds is just priceless!!
ReplyDeleteLove the gull feeder and the reflections. I have supported Oxfam's work for many years now.
ReplyDeletePizza, Italian coffee... Sounds like my kind of place!
ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos, my favorite is the lady feeding the gulls.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a happy day and a great weekend!
i did enjoy this post, lovely images!! that first reflection is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing the reflections you find in the harbor. Must be time to put your boat in the water so you can go out on the first nice day.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I did enjoy your post today, I always do. We have about that many gulls following the Galveston ferries. People throw bread and stuff for them to eat. Perhaps so many they are a nuisance flying overhead. You have really a really nice "O" collection here. I had not ever noticed any orange buoys, I will have to ask my son if the different colors mean different things. I know the lights do when outlining a harbor entrance or exit. My son is a boatman, he ties up the ships at the Port of Houston.
ReplyDelete..
Overly good!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections.
ReplyDelete...the image of the ORANGE buoy is wonderful. I haven't had a pizza in OVER a year. OXFAM is a wonderful organization. Thanks Margaret for joining the party, take care.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, Beautiful reflection of the boat. I also really like seagulls, I love taking pictures of them. Unlike most birds, they don't fly away when they see the car window go down or if there's a camera in their face. So, that makes it very easy to take pictures of them. And, I'm making a pizza for dinner tonight, too! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteDawn
Nice reflections!
