THROUGH MY LENS - Walk with Neil Porteous at Mount Stewart Gardens (Part 3)

 This is the third in this series (7) over the next few weeks in which a group of staff and volunteers from the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart was privileged to take a walk round the gardens with Neil Porteous, our Head Gardener.  This time we walked round part of the lake and Neil is showing us some plants at Tir na nOg.

    Gardens are such peaceful places filled with beauty and calm. Your images tell of that. These are lovely plants - the Bomarea is quite stunning. Are these specific to this area or do they grow plants that are usually found in other habitats (I'm not very familiar with the Northern Ireland plant world)?
