FRIDAY'S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

As most of you know this week I am showing you images from my time last Saturday as I walked round the lake at Mount Stewart Gardens, near Newtownards.   I am starting with REFLECTIONS images to fit into the meme Weekend Reflections.  However I have had to go back to my Malawian photos to find shots for the Letter D, Favourite and Close Up for FRIDAY’S HUNT.

This is their DOG being DOUSED, well nearly DROWNED, I think while having a bath.  DELUGE amounts of soapy water were poured over him and afterwards he was DRENCHED with clear water from the hose pipe when he was hosed DOWN. You can see Judith is wearing a DRESS.

Now for the CLOSE UP above.  As you can see it is of a Giraffe called Mrs G and in later posts I will show and tell you more about her and her husband.

So that leaves my last image below and it is my FAVOURITE.  It has The Children’s DAD, Jon, My DAUGHTER Judith, DANIEL, my grandson and Annika my grandDAUGHTER and was the last shot I took prior to my DEPARTURE for home.  A DELIGHTFUL image for me to remember.

Many thanks for visiting
and also for all the comments you leave on this post.

  1. This really is a gorgeous family picture! I love this beautiful and peaceful place. And especially the reflections of the swan and the tall water ornament.

  2. Had to smile at the little dog's bath. That is not a happy dog, but everyone else looks happy to have a clean dog. Also love the giraffe portrait photo. What sweet eyes. And, of course family photos are the best.

  18. Nice family picture, Margaret. I guess your dog puts up a fuss about being bathed. Long gone now, but we had one dog who woul hide when I started filling her bucket. The other one enjoyed being bathed. But don't the all get really happy when they are released!!!
