WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

As I mentioned yesterday, David and I went outside his boundary walls and on the fast flowing river I videoed a Common Sandpiper which is below.  I am linking this post with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

  8. He is sure not staying on the SAND! And so unusual the way he wags his tail! Wonder why? Surely not for balance. So interesting! There are sandpipers here, but I have never seen one. Elizabeth Taylor even starred in a movie called The Sandpiper.

  15. The Common Sandpiper kinda reminds me of a Spotted Sandpiper in the way that it moves. Very nice bird and a beautiful area!
