common brown bird in Costa Rica is the Clay-colored Thrush (Turdus grayi). It
is the national bird and fills garden at the start of the wet season and
therefore ‘announces the rain’

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is G and Griant. An unusual topic I thought! Now I have never personally meet a GIANT however while browsing the books in our library at Botanica Lifestyle Resort I came aross these 3 books for our young grandchildren to read. The GRAFFALO may not be called a GIANT however I think the mouse would have thought he was!! This Cock hen had a GIGANTIC comb and wattle! My final shot is of a GREAT many birds both on the bank and in the water and I am using this shot for my REFLECTION photography today.
