WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter V and Verdant.  This shot was taken as you approach Botanica Lifestyle Resort and shows a beautiful VERDANT green pasture.  In my second shot are a VARIETY OF VARIOUS different fruits which I would never have seen in Northern Ireland.  The final shot is my REFLECTION photograph taken in Belfast and that reflection is the Albert Clock.

SATURDAY CRITTERS

This is a Hawk Moth with the scientific name of Gnathothlibus eras.

The hindwings are bright orange with dark margins. The females have broader dark margins than the males. The males are smaller than the females. The female moths have a wingspan of about 10 cms. The male moths have a wingspan of about 8 cms.

I ‘think’ this is a male as the male has hairs covering most of its forelegs.

I photographed it at the Botanica bowling green.
