While visiting the Tablelands with a friend, we called in to another friend and they had a big dog however it appears friendly although was behind a fence.

WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

Just across the raod from where I live there is a small lake and ercently a Jabiru came to visit it.  They are not normally here so that brought a lot of bird watchers.  In the first shot is also a Great Egret.   Managed to shot a short video of the Jabirus.  A few days later there wer 4 Jabiru which I will show you another time and then an immature one arrived.

THROUGH MY LENS

On the first day of our trip to the Tablelands my friend took me to see the Malanda Falls and these area some of the photographs.  The brownish water is due to all the rain during our rainy season however in the dry season the water becomes clear and rhris large area is used for a swimming pool.  More photos on Wednesday.

My friend and I went on a 3 day trip to the Tablelands and the first evening we went to the old station at Ravenshoe where a 7 piece band were practicing.  They played some Irish music so I could sing along.
