Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and
the letter is C and Calm. All these photographs were taken in Scotland and the first one is taken in Campbeltown where I was staying with my sister and illustrates CALM water and has a beautiful REFLECTION of this yacht and there is no one in the COCKPIT. That day, my nephew and family took me on the CALADONIAN Ferry to Arran Island. There we explored this ruin of a CASTLE.
Lochranza CASTLE .
Arran is an
island off the west coast from Ayrshire and is often referred to as Scotland in
miniature. In the south of Arran you can find fertile valleys, meadows and
prehistoric ruins.

These are my nephews’
two lovely CHILDREN who are getting a CUDDLE from their Dad and this last shot
is a view from the CASTLE and as you CAN see, it was a CALM day on Aaron Island
as well as the mainland Scotland.
Thank you for visiting and also for leaving comments.
The Yacht is a gorgeous picture, and that is my favorite. Despite the interesting castle ruins.
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous. As always, I love your reflection shot.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what tales those castle walls could tell!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that first image is CALM. Love your nephew hugging his children. Blessings Jo

ReplyDeleteA great bunch of Cs this week!
ReplyDeleteNice photos!
ReplyDeleteSomeday i want to tour such a castle and dream about the days when it was alive with activity.
ReplyDeleteThe sailboat shot is beautiful, Margaret. Yes, Calm water makes for nice reflections. We visited Ayrshire but we didn't know we could get over to Aaron Island.
ReplyDelete..
Fascinating shots.
ReplyDelete...Margaret, GREAT 'C'ollection of 'C's. 'C'alm sure looks "C'alm to me! Thanks for the visit, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteI think calm waters is the only way I could be on that sail boat. I believe I would have motion sickness. :) Love the castle! The only one I've been to is Hurst Castle in California and it seems to only be a castle by name. Rhys ap Thomas is on our family tree. He was a resident of Carew Castle in Wales. One of these days I hope to visit there.
