WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These photographs of the Mute Swans were taken at the Duver Marina on the Isle of Wight.
For those who saw yesterday's post and thought the place was flodded, I did say it was a lagoon (not flooded)
I am linking with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

SUNDAY THOUGHT

Don’t be harsh or impatient with an older man. Talk to him as you would your own father, and to the younger men as your brothers.

Photographed in Ireland.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and the letter is D and Dark. Once again only one photograph for you and this one was shot on the Isle of Wight were I recently visited.  The background of DARK trees make an even DARKER REFLECTION in the water.  Quite a number of the boats are DARK blue in colour.  You may be able to see on the land a DARK DOOR in that building on the left.

The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and the letter is C and Calm.  All these photographs were taken in Scotland and the first one is taken in Campbeltown where I was staying with my sister and illustrates CALM water and has a beautiful REFLECTION of this yacht and there is no one in the COCKPIT.  That day, my nephew and family took me on the CALADONIAN Ferry to Arran Island.  There we explored this ruin of a CASTLE.

Lochranza CASTLE .
Arran is an island off the west coast from Ayrshire and is often referred to as Scotland in miniature. In the south of Arran you can find fertile valleys, meadows and prehistoric ruins.
CLICK HERE for more information regarding this CASTLE

These are my nephews’ two lovely CHILDREN who are getting a CUDDLE from their Dad and this last shot is a view from the CASTLE and as you CAN see, it was a CALM day on Aaron Island as well as the mainland Scotland.
