Volunteers from Mount Stewart Invited to a reception at Bangor Castle (Part 2)

If you missed part one of this post CLICK HERE.  I discovered this limited print of Mount Stewart House by Percy French when the volunteers were given a guided tour of Bangor Castle. Below that are very interesting old photographs of 'old' Bangor.  There had been 35 bedrooms during the Ward's time which were now offices and two sets of staircases which we seem to go up and down and after a while I was totally disorientated.  The ceilings were exquisite.

    The ceilings are awesome!! As well as the unusual shape of the staircase and beautiful blue carpet

    Lots of volunteers. And no doubt they are all needed. An amazing place.
