Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is I and Ice.   I am starting with my REFLECTIONS photo for James’ meme.  It is the Bangor Marina and the second shot is ICE in the Marina.  I have only ever seen the sea ICE up here once.  It is very unusual. The final 2 shots wee taken at Daintree in North Queensland where we each had  three different favour of the special and famous Daintree ICE cream.  Delicious,

SATURDAY CRITTERS

 You may not have realised but my laptop was not working and was being repaired so no posts for several weeks.  Also I have been flat on my back with a bad back so perhaps the broken laptop came at a good time!! This is a an Australian Brush-turkey.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUND

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is H and Hot.  You may not have realised but my laptop was not working and was being repaired so no posts for several weeks.  Also I have been flat on my back with a bad back so perhaps the broken laptop came at a good time!!  So only 1 shot today as I must not spend too much time on my laptop.  This shot cover both Tom and James’ meme.  It was a very HOT fire on one of the many beautiful beaches we have near Cairns.  My SIL and daughter collected driftwood and it wasn’t too long before they had a blazing fire going.  This is also my STREET PHOTOGRAPHY.

After Gillian and I had a swim at Barron Gorge, we rested on the big rocks and watched a lot of these Dragonflies darting about.  They were a bit too fast for my iPhone.

GOOD FENCES

 Some evenings, Gillian, my UK daughter and I would go for a lovely swim in our pool around 8.00pm and then relax on the loungers for a while and look at the stars.

BARRON GORGE

While my daughter Gillian was visiting from the UK, I took her to a nearby swimming hole at Barron Gorge.  The water was crystal clear.
