Trip to Ailsa Craig Island (Part 2)

This is a view taken from the pier of part of Cushendall village which is in County Antrim.  The other two photos were taken at the River Dall which runs through the town and yesterday I showed you the video of both the Grey Wagtail and Dipper.  If you missed it, I have added it at the end of this post.

  8. Lovely spot even with the hanging clouds. We used to live on Antrim Court I imagine it was named for your county there. Is the water that color because of iron?

  12. NOW I know why they call them wagtails! Video sure helps! :-) And how neat to get the footage of the dipper, too. Loved the beautiful scenery there as well. Wonderful post!

  13. Isn't it wonderful how the Creator made such wonderfully diverse birds. The bouncy wagtail and the more subtle dipper. Thank you for using your talents to share your part of the world and its creatures.

  15. Rivers are so wonderful ... That sense of peace that the water provides but also the thoughts about traveling onward and outward flowing on to bigger things!
