BIRDS at Hersey Nature Reserve, Isle of Wight

Last week I showed you some Sanderling, Turnstone and Oystercatchers on Ryde beach and just opposite it is Hersey Nature Reserve so today I am showing you the photo and a short video of what I found there.  The lighting wasn't really good however these are the best I could take!

Not a great shot because the camera was always focused on the reeds however I really wanted to take the shot with the Oystercatcher, Lapwing and Greenshank all sitting together.  Can you see them?

Little Egret and Grey Heron

Tufted Duck

Greenshank

I hope you enjoyed seeing the birds at this small reserve on the Isle of Wight and I thank you for visiting today.

  6. Never seen a greenshank either, they do make their way to local lakes. But then I am a terrible birdwatcher who makes do with lovely pictures like these!
