Enjoyed seeing this series Margaret. How did you know it was a racing pigeon; was it the colour of the ring that determined?Carole M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13261384312136535762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1129438419127484980.post-59180646778256728572014-07-01T15:30:06.243+10:002014-07-01T15:30:06.243+10:00That is a wonderful picture of the racing pigeon, ...That is a wonderful picture of the racing pigeon, all puffed up!Ginny Hartzlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329131153403895625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1129438419127484980.post-7685045927513270582014-07-01T15:25:28.023+10:002014-07-01T15:25:28.023+10:00Beautiful photos here of your time on the island! ...Beautiful photos here of your time on the island! So many interesting birds - I particularly love the Oyster Catchers. Once we had a racing pigeon land on our roof and stay all afternoon and overnight, frequenting the bird bath for water. We offered it seed, but it declined and was gone in the morning. I very much enjoyed this series of your time here and all your wonderful photos. - KarenKaren @ Beatrice Euphemiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08631972741518142563noreply@blogger.com
