They are a spectacular bird when seen in a flock and when I was in Queensland in August, I saw a huge flock by a cane cutter. They all took off as I approached and I took what should have been a truly spectacular series of rapid burst shots of dozens of them in flight, filling the screen, only to find I had left the camera in full manual mode and had an irrecoverable series of hopelessly underexposed shots :-(James Bennetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06444775168693391249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1129438419127484980.post-15719097037625301772014-05-22T08:34:45.673+10:002014-05-22T08:34:45.673+10:00Margaret...thanks for visiting and leaving a sweet...Margaret...thanks for visiting and leaving a sweet comment at the Bird D'Pot this week.Anni https://www.blogger.com/profile/11805303710992562752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1129438419127484980.post-7930277576089906812014-05-22T07:29:42.706+10:002014-05-22T07:29:42.706+10:00Yes, I found your post very interesting.
