SOUTH AFRICA

This is another beach we visited which was a very short distance away by car but this one is at the Indian Ocean and so we swam in it and the waves were tremendous. These are some of the images I took that day.

SATURDAY CRITTERS - South Africa

One of the first things we did after we got settled into our accommodation, was head to the beach.  The sand was pure white and beautiful to walk on.  The birds I saw were the Hadeda Ibis, African Sacred Ibis and Swift Tern.  Then we found a baby seal with it's head removed probably due to a shark attack.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and this week it is the letter B and Blue and we are still at the Aquarium where is plenty of BLUE colour to be seen in both the fish and backgrounds of the tanks.  This first image is all of my family. Matthew and Daniel are BROTHERS to Anna and Annika (respectfully) and as you can see Annika is the BIRTHDAY girl.

MY FAVOURITE above for obvious reasons.

This is a BRIDGE totally made from BOTTLES and then we have a BLACK Oystercatcher, followed by my REFLECTION image and finally after we came out of the Aquarium, we had lunch sitting on these BENCHES and you can see BEHIND us we have BUILDINGS and BOATS, these three all have BROWN hair, and Annika has a BRACELET/BANGLE on her arm and on the table some BAGS and a water BOTTLE.

On our way down to the beach near our accommodation in South Africa, we were fenced in on one side by very tall grasses and the other with this wall.

THROUGH MY LENS - South Africa

I am slowly editing my Cape Town photographs and these were taken on our drive from the airport to our first accommodation.  I discovered through my holiday I was always surrounded by magnificent mountains.
