Bangor Walled Garden

Last week I visited Bangor Walled Garden and these are a few photographs I took there.  Spring this year is very slow but the vegetable area is well prepared for planting and the main colour in the garden at present is yellow.

Fritillaria imperialis, commonly known as crown imperial, is a bulb native to mountainous regions in Turkey, western Iran and eastwards to Kashmir. It is grown for its large and spectacular clusters of bell-shaped flowers in late-spring.

Many thanks for visiting and also for all the comments you leave.
