SATURDAY CRITTERS - Castle Espie

Today I am showing you, in my opinion, two of the most beautiful ducks.  The Mandarin and the Wood duck (sometimes known as the Caroline duck).  Enjoy the colourful plumage and I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.

Many thanks for your visit and I hope you enjoyed all the posts this week which were photographed at WWT Castle Espie.

Many thanks or all the comments you leave on this post.

  1. WOW!!!! All I can do is stare with my mouth open. I have seen pictures of wood ducks, but yours are the most brilliant and outstanding!! The detail in your pictures is so clear and wonderful and colorful. The Mandarin really does look painted. And he IS...painted by God. I don't know which I like best. But oh my, the beauty!
