Castle Espie Ducks and Geese.

These are some more of the ducks and geese I photographed at WWT Castle Espie last weekend,  There is a Comb duck, Emperor goose ,Greenland White fronted goose,Wigeon and Cinnamon Teal in the images below in that order.

  1. The Cinnamon Teal is just gorgeous!! The Comb duck is my next favorite, lovely feathers. Wonder why he was named that. The picture with the two ducks, wonder if they were fighting or quacking at each other? That is a great shot! Oh MY, that Cinnamon Teal is a beauty!

Ginny The Wigoen were fighting and when I first saw them their beats were stuck together for about 1 minute but be the time I got my vivdeo working they had disengaged but i did get a short clip of the angry one,, annoying the other ducks but jyst did not have time to up load that clip for today. It is so much work doing the videos, nowadays I am running out of time it seems and it is in fact strressing me so something has to stop.

  4. I also love the feathers on the Comb Duck. Beautiful markings. Margaret which one is the Greenland White Fronted Goose?. The Cinnamon Teal are a beautiful colour.

  12. WoW!!! these are all very beautiful. the 1st and 3rd, were especially interesting to me, the comb duck. i found the feather pattern to be beautiful!!!
