SATURDAY CRITTERS - Blessingbourne House Hens

These photographs were taken when the family and I had a holiday at Blessingbourne House.  You will see on the video that each morning we were responsible to letting the hens out  collecting the eggs and putting them to bed.  Judith adored the chicken with its wonderful black and white feather and one day she caught it and cuddled it like a baby.  I think if she could have taken it home to Malawi if she could!  The white rooster just appeared one day on the estate and stayed but made friends with one of the Peacocks.  You will see much more on the VIDEO below.
