TULIPS from my garden

I grew some lovely Tulips in pots this year and they have given me great pleasure so I photographed some of them and played around with the shots.  Perhaps you have a favourite?

I have never tried this 'soft focus' effect before and am interested to see what you think of it or do you have a favourite image perhaps?

Many thanks for joining me today
and also to anyone who leaves comments.

  1. Love your tulips. The soft focus effect is not for me - but I do love the water droplets in some of your macros.

  6. Beautiful tulips and photos Margaret. I especially like the pictures with water droplets. I can't make up my mind about the soft focus although it does give an interesting effect :)

  7. Aren't they lovely. You have given me an idea. I will be container gardening once we move. I can plant tulips in a pot next fall and enjoy them next spring. Thanks for the inspiration.
