  1. Beautiful creatures. They are so strong & powerful looking & I love the shape of their horns, although I wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of them. Enjoyed the video too Margaret.

  12. The SA buffs are rather mean critters according to rumor. I've been up close and personal with them in the Nakuru Game reserve (Kenya) trying to get good pics, until Grant hissed that I should get back into the vehicle! They look softly bovine, but apparently are quite dangerous. Have a great day. Jo

  13. Beautiful beasts, Margaret. Perfect pictures and video. Kudos, Thank You Much.
Was wondering, looks like plenty of grass for them, how about warter?
Oh yes, do they migrate out of the park?
South Africa is still on our bucket list, had a cruise booked last year but had to cancel. Been to the north for Egypt.

  18. Very imposing creatures. Although reluctant to raise their heads, when they did their horns look really magnificent in the video.

  19. Great photos of these Cape buffalos. This is not an animal I would wish to be near. Hope you had a looong lens. They are noted for their poor eye sight, bad tempers, and great strength.

  22. Such magnificent beasts, Margaret, and beautifully photographed. I'm not sure that I'd trust being so close to those horns, but I guess that you were safely tucked away inside a vehicle.

Best wishes to you for your Sunday - - - Richard
