THROUGH MY LENS - Chelinda Lodge in Nyika Plateau , Malawi (Part 6)

These shots were taken on a late evening drive with a guide and at first I wondered why there were rugs in the vehicle but later totally understood why. Once again I have lightened the photos and after an hour we stopped and were surprised that the guides produced tea and cookies which we were very grateful for.  We ended up quite high in the mountain and my family climbed to the top of rocks to see the setting sun.

It may not be a brilliant post however
I hoped to give you the feel of Malawi from it.

I know these are rubbish photographs however
I like them as they look more like paintings.

Wrapped up family.

This is Annika, my granddaughter and Jon, her dad on the rocks.
I hoped you got the feel of Malawi without getting COLD from my photographs.

I have to apoligise to many of you as yesterday I accidently deleted 50 of the Last comments that have been made on my blog.

I am linking this post with THROUGH MY  LENS.

  2. I don't find these rubbish at all. They show you guys had a lot of fun and they do bring out the feeling of traveling to Malawi. I like the sunset shots with you guys wrapped in the rugs. :) Thanks for linking in with Through My Lens!

  4. Ha I agree with the others these are very atmospheric shots, it must have been wonderful watching the setting sun, cosy in the rugs, with the family all around, drinking tea. It is good to see the vehicle too with it's large windows, I'm jealous!
    Have a lovely week.

  19. Oh I'm sorry now I see ... It does look very cold... Now I see why there were rugs. I think your photos are fine, I like the feel of the tour ... I learned more from this about the area than I would have if all you posted were perfect shots!
