WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Tory Island (Part 16)

These are some of the birds I saw when I stopped at the little lake I showed you last week for my picnic.  There is a video at the end as well.

This is the Mute Swan that seems to be mates with the Canada Goose.

The Eider above and the Shelduck below.

The Oystercatcher above and the Mallard below.

Ringed Plover

Wheatear above and Redshank below.

Lapwing

I have only added this Puffin in here in case you did not see my Puffin Post on Saturday.  CLICK HERE for that.  I saw them after I left the lake.

Pied Wagtail

There is a short video, CLICK HERE if it does not appear below.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the birds I saw on Tory Island in today's post.

I will show you more birds in stills and video tomorrow as there were just too many for today’s post.

I am linking this post with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

Thanks for your visit and also to all who leave comments.

  4. Puffins are great - but the star of the show has to be the oystercatchers! I really like them!

  19. Super pictures Margaret. I particularly like the Eider and Ringed Plover. Neither are easy to nail down for good shots, so well done.
