GOOD FENCES - (Part 11)

Although I still have a few more posts to publish from Vwasa Lodge Safari Park in Malawi, I could not find any more fences there, so today I am showing you the gate as we approached the next safari park called Nykia National Park.  Also I am enclosing shots I took on the way before we arrived there.

Annika waiting for the gate to open.

My grandchildren, Daniel and Annika loved to sit on the roof of the car while waiting for the gate to open.

Below are some shots of the countryside as we passed it to give you a flavour of the it and the roads.

Man pumping water.

We stopped at this little village where Jon bought some mandazi buns for us.

Further along this man was selling these small bananas in his ’fenced’ basin.  We bought a bag as they are delicious.
Much sweeter than the normal sized bananas and not always available.

The people in the distance can be seen close up on this post.

I am ‘fenced in’ in this hut while Jon paid for the safari park.
This was one of their posters.

This is Annika being ’fenced' in between these large poles.

I thought she was stuck!!

Tomorrow I am back to continuing posts from Vwasa Lodge where you will see Elephants coming down to the water hole as the sun sets, giving marvellous reflection shots and video.

Hope you enjoyed seeing a bit more of Malawi in this post.

I am linking this post with GOOD FENCES.

Thank you for visiting and also to all those who leave comments.

  6. It's great to see those dusty roads again Margaret. Just typical of Africa, as is people just going about their business but all the while looking for an opportunity to see something. Fresh roadside mangoes was my favourite!
