Coffee at Ngala Beach Lodge, Malawi

Yesterday I showed you the birds I found at Ngala Beach Lodge and today I am sharing the photographs that will give you a small taste of this very well run lodge in a magnificent setting with its own private beach.

Although this Lodge is not open to day visitors, the owners invited us to have coffee and we were delighted to accept and were overwhelmed by the high standard of the lodge as well as the beauty of its surroundings.

At the entrance, Annika found a bird that was taller than her.

As we sank into very comfortable couches enjoying the freshly made coffee, we had this wonderful view to look at.

Annika found a wooden Hippo to ride on.

This is one of the beautiful comfortable and spacious bedrooms.

While I quickly explored around the beach area,
Daniel and Annika had a rest on the hammock!

I hope you agree with me that this is a beautiful lodge in a wonderful setting and tomorrow I will show you a few more photographs with fences in them.

Thank you for visiting and also to those who leave comments.

  7. What a colourful array of birds you are finding there! Just loved the woven nests. What great pieces of art! The lodge looks like a fairytale place with the amazing thatched-type roof and unfinished logs for beams. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

  8. Looks like a wonderful place to take a birding break. Birding in the morning, sunbathing on that glorious deserted beach in the afternoon.
