WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Wild Birds at Dublin Zoo

As some of you know I have had to replace my camera due to the fact that water got into the one I usually use so last week I took the new one out for a test drive.  Yesterday I showed you photograph from Bangor Walled Garden.  As I had reason to be in Dublin with 2 hours to spare, I went to the zoo another day.  So for the rest of this week, I am taking a break from posting on my 6 week trip to Africa to show you the photographs and video I took.  Other than sign boards, all of them are straight out of the camera without ANY editing.

I would value you opinion.

This is an interesting read.

  4. Perfectly shot, each one. I keep scrolling back to look from top to bottom! You have a strong zoom, Margaret. I'm pleased to see the area was left to revert back to nature and now houses so many beautiful birds. Have a great day, (I've not forgotten your id's. I've sent on to bird experts in Dar and I know they'll get back to me soon) Jo

  5. Margaret, your photos are always wonderful. A friend of mine has the Lumix too and she takes wonderful photos with it, without any manipulating. Were these taken on an overcast day?

  11. Hi Margaret. You have chosen well. A 'Bridge' camera is ideal for what you do and the FZ200 is about the best you could have chosen. Straight away the images you have posted are much clearer and a vast improvement. I hasten to add that your previous images were down to the camera and not you.
