  4. Oh my, that is scary. I would not be able to walk out on that except maybe if I had to to save my life. It's amazing how they built that.

  6. Wow! Just look at that 'boiling', swirling water! Fantastic capture. Not sure I'd be brave enough to cross that bridge but I'd definitely want the photos!

  10. I'm thinking you would have to have nerves of steel to go along that footpath. Fantastic photos, the roar of all that water must have been something else!

  13. This looks like a magical place! A fence in the water!!! And the way the light is hitting it, it looks a pretty green in some places. It is like something from a beautiful nature book.

  29. As you can see, I found your post about Iguaçu. This is a great view of the bridge over the falls. I didn't know when Good Fences started, but I just looked back in your archives to find this post.

Did you travel elsewhere in Brazil?

When I lived there 45 years ago, I traveled by bus from Recife in the NE all the way to Buenos Aires stopping at major cities along the way with side trips to Brasilia and a few other cities. But I always regretted not visiting the Amazon region or Iguaçu, so when I went back to visit my friends and former students for the first time in 42 years, I got a Brazilian air pass so I could cross those two things from my bucket list.

    1. HI Caroline I found you blog (Oct 2011) and saw the 3 slide shows, Bird Park where I visited and the Falls from both sides of the Falls where I also was. Mostly I was in Paragauy for 3 weeks and moved round that country.
