Sunset over Yarmouth, I.O.W.

This was the place that Eileen and I stood and watched the Kingfisher through our telescopes.  Quite a number of people passed, stopped and we were able to show them him also.  One lady had lived there nearly all her life and had never seen it.  She was amazed.  Isn't it lovely to be able to share nature with others.  Another couple who were visiting their family were also delighted to look through the telescopes and by the time I had got home, they had emailed me to thank us. (I had given her a card).  That meant a lot to both of us.

The sky turned a wonderful red colour and it was a lovely way to
finish the day’s birding.

I didn't have a lot of photographs today however tomorrow I will bring you another Australian bird.

Thank you for visiting and thanks to those who kindly left comments.

  11. My curiosity is running wild...what kind of buildings used to be there where the old bricks and looks like concrete foundations are standing next to the water? Ah Margaret you truly are a Master at what you do......
