Swans At Broad Water

As I mentioned yesterday, I said I would show you the Mute Swans that were on Broad Water.  If you did not see or hear about Broad Water you will find it on yesterday's post.  The early morning light on the canal was wonderful and Eileen and I were only sorry we could not stay longer there but we were trying to fit two large Reserves into one day and of course anything else
that stopped us on the way!

The next series of shots of a Mute Swan taking off where taken by Eileen and I have edited them all.  I suggest you put these photos onto slide to see them.  While Eileen was taking these, I was taking a video of them which you can see at the end of this post.

So once again, pour the coffee/tea, sit down, relax and enjoy.

Hope you enjoyed all the Swan photos and now the video can be assessed at

If the space below is black, click it and the video will appear.

I hope you enjoyed the Swans today and the first part of this walk along the canal at Broad Water yesterday.

Many thanks for visiting.

Tomorrow, Eileen and I reach the RSPB Portmore Lough  Reserve so tune in and see what we found.

  9. Beautiful birds I have been following all year locally... unfortunately I had two abandoned nests (6 six eggs in each) and two beautiful day old cygnets I spent an evening taking images of were predated that same night.
I love your second image... it looks a like wonderful place to visit.
